Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight delivered a psychotic, terrifying new take on the Joker. The Batman Universe Bust Collection proudly presents the fantastic Joker Bust, inspired by Heath Ledger's portrayal.
The Dark Knight's Joker was heavily inspired by the version of the character from Batman: The Killing Joke, and Heath Ledger’s mesmerising performance as the Joker earned him a well-deserved – but tragically posthumous – Best Supporting Actor Oscar.
Ledger based his Joker look partly on Sid Vicious, the volatile Sex Pistols singer and bassist, which is depicted faithfully in your highly detailed DC Comics Joker Bust. He is seen here wearing white face paint, blacked out eyes with a red smile drawn on too to cover his hideous facial scarring; while he wears his purple suit jacket and green waistcoat, with clashing prints on his shirt and tie.
Inside the accompanying magazine read all about the inspirations of this Joker, his character throughout the movie, and take a look at the Dark Knight's amazing emergency vehicle, the bat pod.
Not one to be missed by any fan of The Dark Knight franchise!
