Part 40 features the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-B Ship from the movie Star Trek: Generations.

This Excelsior-class starship, the fourth to bear the name Enterprise, was launched from its Federation spacedock in 2293, with Captains James T Kirk and Montgomery Scott and Commander Pavel Chekov in attendance. Far from mission-ready, the Enterprise-B had to respond to a distress call that put it in the path of a Nexus energy ribbon, which led to the loss of the legendary captain of the Enterprise NCC-1701.

Details of this mission and the design and specs of this starship feature in the magazine, along with a look at the filming of the memorable Enterprise-D crash landing scene from Star Trek: Generations.
