The design of the U.S.S. Excelsior not only wowed cinema audiences in 1984 but went on to be the most enduring ship in STAR TREK history and will be a sensation in your Star Trek Collection.
The Excelsior made its debut in Star Trek III: the Search for Spock and was always intended to be an advanced vessel that made the Enterprise looks old. The ship underwent some changes when it reappeared in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country under Captain Sulu’s command and this is the version that the model replicates.
U.S.S. Excelsior NCC-2000 comes with a special collector’s 20-page magazine that provides an in-depth profile of the U.S.S. Excelsior, the first ship of the Excelsior class and Captain Sulu’s first command.
